Loomis artist Victoria Brooks will hold three international painting workshops in 2008.
"The 2007 workshops in Cortona and Cinque Terre, Italy were just wonderful," says Brooks. "For 2008, I plan to change the scenery and head to three different areas - French Alps, Ireland and the Greek Isles."
"Painting and Sightseeing in the French Alps" will be held May 14-22. Prices start at $2,590 (excluding air) and include nine days in a private 19th-century country house and dinners made by a personal chef.
On Aug. 16-23, Brooks and class attendees will head to Ireland for "Painting Irish Treasures." Prices start at $2,999 (excluding air) and include seven nights in a three-star hotel and daily trips to the Irish coast and countryside.
Prices are not yet set for the Oct. 9-16 trip to the Santorini in the Greek Isles. This trip will include daily trips to local villages and nearby islands and seven nights in a three-star hotel.
"(Last year,) we saw and painted scenic landscapes, ate food that was out of this world and laughed every night as we shared stories with our new friends," says Brooks.
