Local Curves member Joan Kirby was chosen as the Granite Bay 2007 Sweetheart winner. Kirby lost nearly 50 pounds in less than a year and wrote an essay on her experience with Curves of Granite Bay. She has also been submitted to the national contest with Curves International.
