Whether you are a beginning "cork dork" or refining your olfactory talent, you'll be surprisingly delighted with a series of six interactive and fun wine education classes at the Granite Bay Market (formerly Spoons) in Granite Bay.
Roxanne Langer, an "insider" in the world of wine, will share stories about the glamour and exhilaration of the international wine trade. Founder and president of WineFUNdamentals and wine professor in the Community Education Department of Sierra College in Rocklin, Langer has made a life in the world of wine.
Upcoming classes are Great Wines Made Under the Tuscan Sun sometime in the spring; Spanish Superstars on Tuesday, April 18; Cabernets of the Napa Valley on Tuesday, May 16; The Rhone Valley and the California "Rhone Rangers" on June 20; and Bring it on-The WineFUNdamental Blind Tasting later in the year.
Classes are $65 each or $360 for the entire series.
