House of Bread offers tours
Kids learn importance of good nutrition
Date Published: March 2006
Roseville's House of Bread, which offers fresh healthy bread, offers tours for local youth groups. Owner Suzanne Crachy hopes the tours will educate youth on the importance of nutrition in their young lives.
"Starting at a young age, kids will learn to be selective about what they eat for good nutrition. And they'll discover these wholesome breads, muffins and scones taste better than anything they've ever eaten," says Crachy, who offers the tours for children ages 4 and up.
Tours of the establishment include children creating their own loaf of bread to take home with them.
House of Bread is located in the Highland Crossing Shopping Center at 1090 Pleasant Grove Blvd. To schedule a tour or for more information, call 712-0500.
