Ready, set, hunt!

The 26th Annual Granite Bay Easter Egg Hunt is set for 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Cavitt Junior High School. The Roseville Chamber, who has organized the event since the Granite Bay Chamber was incorporated into the organization in the late 1990s, is already busy scheduling the popular family event.

Once again the Granite Bay Kiwanis Club will serve up a pancake breakfast and the Cavitt field will be sectioned into age categories up to fourth-graders. Children will be hunting for three types of eggs - candy filled, toy filled and the golden eggs.

There will be three golden eggs per age group and children finding the golden egg will win a basket donated by 2Hens Designs & Delectables. Since all the baskets are being donated, Roseville Chamber Events Coordinator Sarah Keesling says the chamber is looking for sponsors for the event. For sponsorship information, contact the Roseville Chamber of Commerce.

In addition the Kiwanis Key Club is organizing all the crafts and Magek Entertainment will provide entertainment, music and deejaying for the event.

Watch for more information on the annual event in next month's Granite Bay View.
